the 8 1/2th circle

well i just had a huge rant all typed up and waiting to be loosed upon the world, about the evils of my timecard - trust me, it's above and beyond the punishments i mete out to the lost souls of the 8 1/2th circle, and that's really saying something - but then something that was supposed to open in a new window didn't, and i closed the window, and it was actually my blogger window, and now i am sad because i typed for a really long time but to no avail because now it is all gone; but perhaps i need to make this sentence a little longer because virginia woolf would have wanted it that way, even if she was a raging evil bitch - though not really of course, she was just a hugely depressed englishwoman, it's just her books that are evil, along with their horribly long sentences.

but anyway. point being you get to skip out on the timecard rant, except for one line: LET IT BE KNOWN THAT THE TIMECARD SYSTEM MY JOB USES SUCKS HAIRY RAT BALLS.

so now on to the cheery stuff - i actually had the day off today, and got to a) sleep in, b) hang out with a friend i haven't seen for 2 years, c) chat with a friend i haven't seen since 1997, d) knit, e) read lots of arwen/éowyn fanfic and look at this pretty picture, f) discuss with friend #2 a business venture to design satanic lollypops of the seven deadly sins - have you ever considered what a lust lollypop should taste like? what about a greedsicle?, g) tromp around san francisco, h) hang out with my boy, i) back on friend #2, read excerpts of the harry potter slash she's writing, which involves snape buggering draco in the bathroom of a bdsm club............ oh, and j) do timecard, but we're not thinking about that anymore.

yeah. it's been a good day.
