Oberlin College is pleased to present the second in a series of symposia funded by a generous gift from the Oppenheim family of North Manchester, Indiana.
On Saturday, April 30, 2016, five international experts from different scientific disciplines will be in Oberlin to present talks about how they deal with complexity in their research. A highlight of the day will be a panel discussion, with audience participation, on the topic of identifying common principles in diverse models of complex systems.
The symposium will take place on at the Craig Lecture Hall of the Oberlin Science Center. It will run from 9 AM to 5 PM. Morning and afternoon refreshments will be provided.
We invite scientists from all disciplines to attend this free event. We ask only that you register so that we can get an accurate count for providing refreshments. Click here to register.
