Throughout the semester, we will be using a Piazza discussion board for discussions about assignments and other general questions for this class. Piazza has the feature that you can post anonymously, so you can feel comfortable asking questions without worrying about revealing that you are confused about a question to your peers (not that there is anything wrong with having questions – it’s a natural part of the learning process).
Please use Piazza this semester to ask questions about the labs and general questions about class content, instead of emailing your instructors. Using Piazza allows us to share answers with everyone quickly. Our experience is that if one student has a question about something, several others do as well, so you will be contributing to everyone’s learning by asking a question. Also make it a habit to check Piazza frequently because something you are wondering about might already be answered.
You are also welcome to stop by office hours and lab helping sessions with any questions, as well!
